Fango

Fango is a mineral healing mud that is heated to about 50 degrees Celsius during application and applied to the skin as a 2 cm thick wrap.

To help the body retain the heat more effectively, it is wrapped in towels or plastic film. A therapy session lasts between 20 and 40 minutes and is particularly effective when followed by a massage. Fangotherapy helps with shoulder, back, and neck pain, tendonitis, and muscle stiffness.
